The Mediterranean Garden Society is committed to protecting personal data. This statement describes why and how we collect it, use it and keep it. It also includes how to contact us if it is necessary to make any change.
We collect your personal data such as your name, address, email address, telephone number and other information necessary for the benefits of your type of membership which includes your copies of the journal, notifications of branch events and other communication.
We have always been protective of your personal information and this policy will continue. It will never be shared with third parties without your express permission and those who have access to the data will always respect this.
We will continue to hold your information in our records whilst you remain a member. However, if your membership has not been renewed and after receiving two reminders from us, your information will be deleted.
Data Protection issues should be raised with mgssecretary@gmail.com as you have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information. You may also use the same contact to raise objections or request changes to the way we handle your data. No fee is required for these requests, but we will need to verify your identity before we can respond.
